The “Garden Hall” in Barra de Tijuca is the host of this exciting festival. The Brazilian American Jazz Festival 2004 is the beginning of an annual event destined to attract Jazz Lovers from the around the world to one of the most sought after exotic and tropical destinations on the planet to enjoy the sounds of popular contemporary Jazz. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit “VillaLobinhos”, a non-profit organization in Rio de Janeiro that teaches jazz and classical music to underprivileged children.

The Brazilian-American Jazz Festival is a unique opportunity for American and Brazilian jazz lovers to witness the exchange of culture through jazz music, a universal language understood by many.
